The Board of Elektron Plc (the 'Company' or 'Elektron') announces that it was informed on 22 January that, following a purchase of 397,300 ordinary shares of 5p each in the capital of the Company ('Ordinary Shares'), John Kinder now holds 14,964,947 Ordinary Shares, representing 17.25 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
